The idea of being a "global citizen" is a complete fallacy—at least when considering that we all stem from unique cultures and experiences among the cities and villages we call home. The concept—being a "citizen of the world"—is in and of itself very abstract: You’d be someone faceless, history-less, coming from everywhere and going nowhere.
