Should Corporate America Provide Economic Literacy Training?

We'll hear more and more in the months to come about "providing economic literacy programs to America's workforce," that is, about teaching what's required to restore our country's competitive strength and leadership in global markets. Harvard's Ted Levitt summed up the need for economic literacy training when he wrote more than 25 years ago:
