Ms Melissa Maria – a strong proponent of nurturing the uniqueness of every child, with her immense passion and commitment, has contributed positively to the field of Learning, Student Development, and Quality in Education. She is a Master of Arts - History with a scholarship from the Mumbai University and the Bombay Catholic Sabha, for being a topper in the state of Maharashtra. She possesses Bachelors in Education and pursued an Educational Leadership Programme from the Centre for Education Management and Development, New Delhi India as well as an Educational Management programme from SNDT College Mumbai – India. Ms Melissa has over 25 years’ experience in the field of education and administration in reputed schools in Mumbai, Oman and Singapore. She has been responsible for the qualitative learning of the students, professional growth of teachers and staff, besides working towards Academic Excellence and Quality in Education. Her zest for nurturing her teams towards Green Initiatives and Innovation has led to several recognitions for the schools she leads. She has actively pursued community integration activities and outreach towards the less fortunate human beings in society. She strives to nurture a sense of patriotism and love of country in her students through various events and celebrations at school. Her zest is to ensure students and staff remain current and relevant and are prepared for the 21st century. This goal has led to introduction of several new programmes and activities in the schools which have been recognized at national and international levels as awards and recognitions to the school.
