Robert is responsible for professional development for faculty surrounding innovative learning environments now under construction at AISG. He ensures faculty collaborate with peers at other schools, undertake on-site visits and engage with the latest research on learning pedagogies and innovative learning environments. The school is focusing on transparency, collaboration and student agency in the new facility designed with the architecture firm of Perkins+Will.

AISG will open thier demonstrator learning spaces project in August 2019. This will give faculty two years to test new pedagogies in the innovative learning spaces. In 2021 all faculty will inhabit new or rebuilt learning spaces. Robert also leads the AISG Innovation & Technology team, which have brought 1:1 programs, makerspaces, a fabrication lab, design thinking and other initiatives to AISG.
