Chief Learning Officer Baker Hughes

With over 35 years of Training and Development experience, Sean is a true learning & development specialist with a passion for learning and living life! In February 2022, Sean was named Chief Learning Leader at Baker Hughes and is responsible for relevant learning and development opportunities that support their cultural transformation. He leads the Baker Hughes leadership, learning and development strategy, partnering closely with the CHRO and CoEs to ensure an integrated development approach, including executive leadership. Sean joined the Baker Hughes Global Learning Team in 2018, in the role of Learning Transformation Leader. Prior to joining Baker Hughes in 2018, he was the President of ConleyGlobal, where he was sought after globally to work with Businesses, Leaders, Teams and Individuals to solve their Learning & Development needs. Prior to launching ConleyGlobal, Sean worked with NBCUniversal for over twelve years. During his time with NBCUniversal he held many positions, including Director of Staffing and Recruitment, Director of Global Learning & Organizational Development and Director of Employee Development. Sean has a true global mindset, having worked in over 45 countries on six continents. While at NBC Universal, Sean was based in London for over five years. During this time, he was responsible for all aspects of Learning for NBC Universal’s global population. Before working for NBC Universal, he was the training manager for The Disneyland Resort and Disney’s California Adventure Theme Parks and Director of Guest Services for Marie Callender’s Restaurants. Sean self-published and released his first book, “Martini,” in 2016 and is now working on two books, “The Big Idea Generator: a freakishly fast and easy way to generate fresh ideas,” and “Passionate Hookers (yes, you read that correctly), a guide on Presenting with Passion,” both expected to be released in 2022/23.
