Laurie Pankow is the Chief Learning Officer of Signature Healthcare with deep expertise in learning strategy, leadership development, and organizational transformation. She has led large-scale initiatives across healthcare, manufacturing, and chemicals, with a proven record of navigating complex M&A integrations and driving measurable organizational impact. Previously, Laurie joined Corewell Health ($20B) as its first CLO, where she designed and launched three enterprise functions (Learning, Culture, and Well-Being) during a regional merger-of-equals. She was accountable for enterprise employee education (clinical/non-clinical) and leader development across the System's hospitals and clinics. Her team delivered impact for more than 65,000 employees and 50,000 contingent workers. Laurie transitioned into healthcare during the pandemic after 15 years in manufacturing. At General Electric, she served as the company's final CLO prior to its three-way separation. She oversaw the 56 acre Crotonville campus and affiliated learning and corporate development curricula. With executive partnership, she implemented a senior leader immersion program, redefined enterprise learning for 100,000 employees, launched a new "Leader as Lean Practitioner" global curriculum, and led the design of learning separation strategies in preparation of the GE Healthcare and GE Vernova spin-offs. Earlier in her career, Laurie held global (commercial leadership) roles at DuPont before being named the company's first corporate Head of Learning & Development. In this capacity, she centralized resources, and eliminated redundancies across the 12 businesses. She launched a new portfolio of award-winning development offerings which introduced externally generated Learning services revenue streams. In addition, she led the Learning integration for the Dow-DuPont merger (2017) and subsequently built and staffed the new learning organizations for the new Corteva (CTVA) and new DuPont (DD) while advising on the talent development structure for the new Dow (DOW) companies that were stood up as independent legal entities in 2019. Laurie is a scholar-practitioner at Harvard's Learning Innovation Lab, serves on the Forbes Business Council, is a member of the Influence Board, has advised Harvard Business Publishing, and previously served on the University of Pennsylvania's CLO Board. She holds both a Doctorate and Master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania, is Six Sigma and PROSCI Change Practitioner certified, and is a licensed CNA. An outdoor enthusiast, she is also a Certified Wilderness First Responder.
