Annika Gakovic

Director, Learning Memorial Sloan Kettering

Anika Gakovic is a trusted talent executive and business advisor with twenty years of experience in learning and leadership development, change management, team building, employee engagement, strategic planning and organizational design. Most recently Anika joined Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as Director of Learning. Her prior roles include: Head of Design for Leadership Edge management programs at JPMorgan Chase, Head of Organizational Effectiveness for OppenheimerFunds, Executive Coach at New York Life Insurance Company, Learning and Change expert at HSBC and UBS. Previously she also worked as a consultant developing selection tests for Hess Oil and the Chicago Police Department while teaching psychology courses and completing her PhD and MA in Industrial Organizational Psychology at University of Houston. Anika has presented at the Conference Board, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), Association for Talent Development (ATD), and CLO Exchange. She has also published articles for the Journal of Organizational Behavior and Organizational Development Journal. Anika's presentations and publications focus on a range of topics including executive development, employee engagement, and driving people strategy through learning and change management. Anika served on the Board of Directors for New York HR Planning Society (NYHRPS) and participated as a coach for the Entrepreneurs Challenge Competition at New York University Stern School.
