Robert Bauer is now in his 11th year as Director of Innovation & Technology at the American International School of Guangzhou in southern China. Through on-going research, planning, piloting and refinement, Robert collaborates with teams to develop programs which support innovation and learning at the school.

Robert is passionate about supporting innovation and the educational experience through technology. At AISG, these concepts increase engagement and creativity - all within a framework of helping students pursue their individual passions and learning. 

As innovation & technology director Robert supports the tech staff, innovation coaches and the admin team. He ensures AISG uses an ISTE standards approach which meets the needs of all students.
