Leanne is the Manager of Learning Space Innovation Research, Monash University providing subject matter expertise on evaluating HE innovative learning environments, impacts of spatial design affordances on learning and teaching, and innovative approaches to the development of university learning space strategy. Leanne is an educator, researcher and passionate about innovative learning spaces that offer enhanced opportunity for participation. After working in Education for 18 years, and becoming a member of the Melbourne University Learning Environments Applied Research Network Leanne became the director of Learning Space Consultancy. This work lead to theory building regarding learning space policy and governance and the impact on the individual. Leanne’s has provided strategic direction and policy advice to a range of government and private sector organisations.
