Dr. Chandra Shekar is currently working as Director, Learning and Development at Universal Hospital, Abu Dhabi has over 30 years of professional experience across academics and administrative functions in different parts of globe. During his term Dr. Chandra Shekar, at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, Manipal, India, he was involved not only in teaching but also in admin matters. He was the founder Course Director for the International Twinning Program commissioned in Manipal in association with American University of Antigua, College of Medicine. He was instrumental in starting M. Tech, Biomedical Engineering Program in Manipal Institute of Technology in the year 1989. He was also involved in administration and teaching at American University of Antigua, College of Medicine, Antigua, Caribbean islands for more than 7 years.
