Brooks is a graduate from LATI’s Robotics and Electronic Systems Technology programs.

He also has his BS in Engineering Management and MS in Education. Brooks has also worked with Dakota Automation, Daktronics, and Automation Technology. He is currently enlisted in the South Dakota Army National Guard as a MLRS Repairer. He also sits on the ATEA National Board of Trustees, is secretary for the ATEA Region 5 board, and helps with many local and state committees.
