8:00 am - 10:00 am WORKSHOP A Exploring Sustainable Choices with the Best Financial Return

Dr Brian Eisenhauer - Director of the Office of Sustainability and Professor of Social Science, Plymouth State University
The Green industry is rapidly growing as more and more organizations are making responsible choices to fight climate change. Countless new ideas emerge each day but how do you sort through them to see which options are best for your institution? Attend this workshop to learn how to invest in green options that are good for the Earth as well as your budget.

8:00AM: Introductions and then attendees will break into groups
8:15AM: Sustainable Designs in Capital Projects
Using both real-life examples and communities of practice, attendees will explore opportunities for greater financial return through sustainable designs
9:00AM: Break
9:10AM: DIY Green Initiative:
Attendees will divide into groups and create green initiatives through the design thinking process 
9:45AM: Q&A
10:00AM: End of Workshop

10:15 am - 12:15 pm WORKSHOP B Journey Mapping a Diverse and Inclusive Student Experience

Patricia Lowe - Executive Director/University Title IX/ADA Coordinator of Office for Institutional Diversity, Boston College
When students are making the final decisions of which college they are going to call their home for the next few years, they want to know that their needs will be provided for. Breakout into active learning groups focusing on specific concentrations (Religious, Cultural, LGBTQ, Accessibility, etc.) and crowd-source ways you can transform your campus space into a place that is inclusive and worthy of being called home.

10:30AM Understanding Student Diversity
This session will demonstrate how campuses can be more inclusive to a range of backgrounds, as well as provide insight into the evolving nature of student diversity 
11:00AM Break 
11:10AM Journey Map the Student Experience 
From application to graduation, groups will journey map the student life-cycle from a specific concentration (Religious, Cultural, LGBTQ, Accessibility)
12:00AM Share solutions your group has proposed
