One of PR News' 2016 "Rising PR Stars," Sam Howe currently serves as chief of staff of MSL Boston’s senior leadership team and leads its new business development program. In this role, he provides strategic communications and talent management counsel across the agency's North American network to current and prospective clients in the aviation, healthcare, professional services and technology verticals. He also sits within the agency's U.S. Crisis and Issues Management Practice.
During his previous tenure at FleishmanHillard,
Mr. Howe cultivated a vast network of media and influencers within the national
technology landscape. His counsel was integral to the creation of Booz Allen
Hamilton’s Sports Analytics Practice as well as the launch of Visa Checkout;
and he successfully coordinated JetBlue’s crisis and issues management
monitoring team during the worst winter storm cadence in New England history.
Before joining FleishmanHillard, Mr. Howe worked for the professional services practice of boutique PR agency Schneider Associates as well as the public relations unit of government relations consultancy O’Neill and Associates. He currently sits on the Young Professional Board of the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston.
Mr. Howe graduated summa cum laude from the Boston University College of Communication with a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations and a concentration in religion, as well as completed a directed study in global account management. He is a recipient of the institution’s Blue Chip Award, given to College of Communication graduates who have excelled academically and professionally.
