Robert David is Leadership Development Partner & Coach at the University of California Berkeley. He has been with the campus since 2013.
The learning organization at UC Berkeley chooses coaching models/frameworks for the staff to use to help transform how performance management is done on campus. Robert is also Executive Director of the CorpEd Advisory Board, Education Architect for the University Partnership Program, and Talent Partner for Extension Ventures @ UC Berkeley. He has previously served on the Board of Directors for the East Bay Chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
Robert has written multiple published articles including: ‘Relevance and Convenience Prioritized by Both Employers and Employees’ and ‘Innovation: Keys to Expanding Reach in the Corporate Training Space’. He has been a featured panelist for Industry events on the topic of "Upskill, Reskill, Repeat: How to Get Adults Ready for Career-Long Learning”.
Prior to academia, he had more than 30 years of operational roles inside several technology companies based in Silicon Valley that were acquired by firms including IBM, Oracle, and Unisys. Robert graduated with a BBA degree (Honors) from the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign.
