EY Brasil’s Corporate University Aims to Spread Learning to a Wider Audience

Add bookmark

When EY Brasil founded a comprehensive corporate university seven years ago, the learning and training leaders set clear benchmarks and goals as part of EY Strategies.

And now, they've already met many of these long-term goals. The university is built off a three-pronged approach to training: quality in training, social learning and development of leaders.

Initial programs focused on more general L&D topics, including continuous education and development of leaders, dissemination of EY values and competencies.

"We've done well with technical training, and now we're focused on expanding existing programs and providing more programs that focus on soft skills," says Armando Lourenzo, chief learning officer at EY Brasil.

In addition, EYU Brasil has delivered some priorities projects like the Multipliers Program and the Innovation Certificate Program. The Multipliers Program teaches technical professionals at EY how to act as training instructors for their colleagues to help spread learning and training to wider audience. The Innovation Certificate Program helps emphasize the development of everyday innovation in the workplace.

With so many irons in the fire, EYU developed an education committee that meets frequently to assess the university's progress and ensure the learning program continues to expand and succeed.
